Default Keep EGR & AIR or go RACE????

Hey im looking for headers and have had my mind set on getting race headers to delete the egr and air. If i was to buy headers that have the hook ups you can just run a block off plates right? Should i just stick to trying to find race headers cuz it will be better or eather will work the same? thanx

I too am thinking about all this ****, and i know that the egr system lowers cylinder head temps, but then if they did that why get ride of them on 01-02 Fbodys? I know they had a different cam, but does that really make the difference? Also im wondering if Corvette's ls1 to 2000 even had the egr system, does anyone know?

get the race style, and get rid of your emissions crap to while your at it. Ive heard a lot of bad stories of the emission headers braking the flange. I have race style and i love them. XS stainless

This is the issue. The emissions bungs are known to break off on all brands of headers that have them. It's something that could happen at a most inconvenient time. Save yourself the potential headaches and get race headers.
