Can I put a WS-6/SS lower intake on stock Z-28

Hey I am about to put some intake stuff on my stock 98 Z. Can I put a stock WS-6/SS lower intake box on my car with a stock hood? Thanks

the ss, z28, and trans am and formula lower air boxes are all the same. the ws6/firehawk lower air box won't clear the camaro hoods but i'm not sure about the trans/am formula hoods.
