Since you have the headers off, it should not be that hard. I know mine took all day, but I had nothing removed and it was a tight fit.
I had to grind down the medal tabs on the poly mounts as I could not get a few of the bolts in. That is what took me the longest.
And I have shitty luck, it was the very last bolt so I was not going to take the others out to grind the tabs. I just fanaggled the dremmel enough to grind the tab down.

Have you did some research to see how people re-use their clam shell and the bolts/nuts you will need?

It all depends on how bad your stock mounts are... Mine were pretty loose and worn out.

Before I did the poly mounts I notched the k-member a little and also pop riveted a rubber hose to the floorboard under the car to keep the ORY from banging under my seat, and it worked. No false knock.

I finally upgraded the polly mounts after I did my H/C as the motor was twisting pretty damn hard under load due to the worn out mounts.. So, I had to do it.

If you got the headers off, I would change them.

Well, its going to be more of a PITA to do when you have to pull the headers back off or attempt to do it with the headers on.

It wont take you more then a ~3 hours to do after you have all the exhasut off.

Or, just leave the mounts you have alone and see if they bang. Its up to you.

Do it and forget about it. I did mine without removing anything. It will be much easier with the headers off. I got mine from SpeedInc.

i did them when i had my headers installed. i went spohn as they are a sponser and at a good price. i think they were like 50.00.its worth just installing and not having to worry about it later. the motor does not even move at all on mine and y-pipe always banged the bottom, not anymore.
