Default Big Thanks to American Racing Headers

I would like to give a big thanks to the guys at American Racing Headers. They built me a set of headers that fit my combo a lot better than the old KOOKS headers that I had. I ran my previous headers and went the first 8.93 @153 and the air density that night was +354ft. I ran this weekend with the new headers and went 8.90@ 153, but the air density was +2598. Which means that the car went quicker in worse air. That tells me that the headers picked up some HP. I have never been a chassis dyno type of guy, because I figure out what it makes by the mph it runs at the track, and for that reason I don't know the exact dyno numbers. Thanks American Racing Headers.

I went from 1-7/8" stepped to 2" with a 3.5" collector to 2" straight to a 4" collector.

Joe, It was our pleasure to get you all set up. That hot rod is moving. In good air I can see your ride going mid 8.80's at 154 plus. Good luck in 2008.

Nick
