Default Headers

I'm looking to be doing long tube headers with a catted Y. I live in Connecticut, and was wondering if anyone had any problems going through emissions in CT with the long tube headers and catted Y. These are the headers I'm thinking about purchasing: American Racing catted Y, SLP new design headers catted Y, Pacesetters with Texas Speed catted Y. Also, even after a tune will the check engine light come on?

After a tune the light should stay off if the person tuning knows what they are doing. Of those I would go with the American Racing or Pacesetters. If I was you I would stay away from SLP. You should have no problem going through emissions with a catted Y-pipe.

Right me too, I just have never liked the SLP headers, but if the new ones are better someone should post up about them.

Tune should should take care of the SES light.

Also, why did you leave Kooks off the list? If you interested in them, shoot us a pm with your number, or call us at 443-730-9428 and we will hook you up.

We also sell Jet Hot headers, which fit great and can be order with a removable cat Y-pipe.

That's the truth, I went with Hooker just because...well all my buddies have them and swear by them. Pacesetters are nice for the money too
