Default a few ?'s about true duals

for a custom true dual setup, which is better, 3" pipes or 2.5" pipes? my car is basically stock right now, hooker LTs with true duals will be my first mod, but i am planning on doing all bolt-on's and later on doing a cam swap. what size piping would suit my car more?

also, has anyone here used the Lane's Performance custom true duals kit (CLICK HERE)? looks like a nice looking kit, but i have no idea on the price (just emailed them for a quote). if anyone has it, how do you like the quality and fit of the kit? would you recommend it?

sorry for the long post, and thanks for the help!

Default Re: a few ?'s about true duals

I think 2.5 will cover enough flow. They are good to close to 500 rwhp. 3 in leaves you with almost no clearance.
