Installed an exhaust cutout a few weeks ago and......
I love it. It has a nasty sound to it. I have run into one problem however. My "service engine soon" light popped up and I took it to my dealer and they told me that there is a leak in one of my cats due to low back pressure from the cutout. First off, is this correct? Second, is this a problem?, thirdly, has anyone else out there experienced the same problem? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

No Problem with my cutout...its located directly under the rear passenger seat, right before the rear axle. No SES codes, no problems at all

What you ought to do is go and ATap it to see what code you're throwing. Your local AutoZone should be able to do it for free. That will give you (and us) a much better understanding of what the problem is.
