You could go with an expensive aluminum B-cool radiator. about $4-500.

I have a copper (a little heavier than aluminum, but better cooling) 4 row radiator. New in the box. I paid $300 for it to use in my 396 project, but I got a hell of a deal on a used Bcool.

I Was going to sell it for $250 shipped, but I think I'll do $200 + shipping. (No way its going to cost $50 to ship). I can send you pics if you are interested.

Give me a day to size it up and weigh it.

Just plugging in B.S. numbers of 40 lbs, 36x22x6 gives me these results for ground shipping:

FedEx: 37.78
USPS: 39.50
UPS: 49.36

Yeah, don't have the brand name, but it is meant to fit in an OEM location (very important for me at the time. I have it in storage. I'll take some pics tonight.

I use the GM LT1 radiator. It works much better than the LS1 radiator and really helped with the transmission temp as well. Here's a pic of the core. The thicker one is the LT1 radiator.

I didn't have my camera with me, but the radiator is in my car, I'll take pics when I get home.

Found a pic and the brand:

Forced air induction? Stroked? No matter how you increase cubic inches you increase the amount of heat transferred to your cooling system, and the factory system isn't always up to the task. After numerous requests and testing it is finally here! Limited production of our HE 4 row, copper/brass, high performance replacement for your factory 1 row, plastic/aluminum radiator. This provides a significant increase in cooling ability and durability without expensive and time consuming modifications.

Features:
  • 4 Row High Efficiency Core Design
  • Direct Replacement Fit... No Mods!
  • Durable Copper/Brass Construction
  • Factory Sensors and Hardware Retained for Easy Installation
I don't know if I can post a link to their site, but the brand is Extreme Radiator so, just add a .com to the end

Interesting...looks like it uses the stock plastic side tanks?

I personally went with a BeCool, but don't kid yourself...it took some effort to get it to fit well (I have an electric water pump that sticks way out).

No the end are brass and the fins copper. I had this set up on my 383 IROC, and never had any cooling issues, even stuck in border traffic in Mexicali.
