How to ID LS6 intake manifold
I have a 2000 WS6 T/A, and I think I heard (I may be wrong) that some of the 2K models had the LS6 intake. Without taking it off for inspection how can I ID what I have ? The part number cast into the manifold on mine is 12560688, and I can't find a reference to this PN# anywhere
Thanks in advance for any help ...

the part # on my receipt is 88894339.keep in mind GM did change the part #.if you do have an ls6 intake on your 2000 which is unlikely you can tell by having no EGR and rear coolant plugs.did you buy it new?maybe someone changed your intake.

That's one of the reasons I don't know for sure ... I bought it "used" and with some mods already installed. However, it does still have EGR ... haven't looked at the plugs.

Re: How to ID LS6 intake manifold
If it had EGR from the factory, the stock manifold definitly was the old style. Some people do put a new 2001+ style manifold on and modify it for EGR, but I doubt yours is like that. Never know though.

Re: How to ID LS6 intake manifold
Well, the # I saw was on the passenger side, but it does sound like it's the LS1 manifold....
