Hey Guys,
Got all of my stuff for my T1 cam swap yesterday. This morning I unsealed my comp 918s to see that they only put 15 in the box? Seems very strange and kindof gives me a feeling about quality control over at comp. Anyone else ever have this problem?

nick , you have bad luck. call them and raise hell. maybe they will send you another box . get those puppies so we can get that cam in your ride.

Hahaha, you are right man. I told you my install will probably go all to hell . Especially since yours went so well. I keep missing you on the phone man, I will try and get in touch with you later on this week.

Comp has had a few misteps including a few bad batches of valve springs.....this is why I would not purchase their springs ...NO QUALITY CONTROL - PERIOD!!!!!

I spoke to Angie at TR today and she said that they had only had this happen one other time since they have been selling the 918s. I guess stuff happens, still makes me a little nervous.

Keep your fingers crossed for me guys.

Where do you think the last guy that had 15 in his box got his 16th at? Your box was owned by the last guy that had 15

I remembered this post when I opened my boxes of new 918's and Ti retainers today, all the springs were there, but I recieved 17 Ti retainers, go figure in a good way. I just need 15 more sets like that and I get 1 set for free! Woo Hoo! Seriously, I called Comp to thank and advise them.
