Default Should I go with this cam package off ebay? (patriot)

I found this package deal on ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Patri...mZ290266708843

Does this seem like a good deal? I want a cam for my daily driver, and i am on a budget. Would there be any cons of going with this setup? Or Does anyone else have a fair priced package including the same parts? Any other recomendations?

any help is appreciated.

No valvetrain parts should be bought off ebay imo.

Why not? The seller is Patriot.

Did you bother to look at the seller name?

Looks like a good deal to me. You might also try Texas Speed and a few other sponsors. You will also need other parts for the swap.

That looks like a nice streetable patriot cam, great size for stock cubes. Should have plenty of low end with a mild lope.

If you want a differnt cam give them or any other vender a call, I'm sure they can give u a similar deal on another cam.

I like my fleabay valve train parts, they saved me big and were quality products brand new. Reputable vendors have ebay stores. I wouldn't hesitate if that's what you want.

Maybe post up your car and mods, thats the only way to be sure if thats a good cam.

Patriot sells a decent budget head, though the consistancy of the results is a little questionable. It seems to be hit or miss. Of course, like anything else, the results depend on the right combination. There are plenty of satisfied Patriot customers, and Gunnar offers some of the best customer service you will find

I was actually looking at that cam for a mild cam only set up in my car. Seems to get positive reviews and most people liked the little bit of tone they picked up at idle.
