Default A little help please

Ok i have owned my car for about 3 years now. For about the past year i have been having a odd miss/breaking up at 2200, 3200-3300 RPM's. It happened when i lived in tampa putting 93 in it and at sea level, now in albuquerque and it still happens? Plugs look good, wires good, cant figure it out. As soon as i give it more then 50% throttle it stops. Also i changed the TPS and that did nothing. Please anyone have any ideas???

Go buy some MAF cleaner, take off the MAF and spray the crap out of it. Stick to a paper filter (if yo don't already). The other thing that can cause that issue is bad O2 sensors. You can swap the rears for front or just buy new ones. You have 4 on there now with stock exhaust manifolds; only the front 2 control fueling. Scan for codes; they may not be throwing a SES light but may be stored in the PCM. Autozone will scan for free.

It could mean either; buy the $4 can of MAF cleaner and try it. If it doesn't help, the MAF could need replacing. Usually if the MAF is truly dead it may throw a code (P0102 or P0103, low and high frequency fail).

Ok thanks viper, will give it a try today. Also i have scaned it a couple times and never thrown a MAF code. Just some emission stuff and the Vac canaster in the gas tank.
