TEA stg 3 heads for ls2?
Iam here in akron ohio and lucky enough to have TEA in my hometown. A friend of mine has the TFS 215's on his 99 ta, he made 465 through cats, with a 224 cam, and stock compression, Iam very impressed with way his car runs. I have a 2005 gto which already has the 243 castings on it. (LS2) My question is should I sell the 243's to a friend and take that money to put towards some TFS 225's or should have tea do up my 243's ? I haven't really seen anyone do the stage 3 Ls6 head from them I searched, didn't find anything and hence this post. The cam I have my eye on is a 232/234 595/598 112 Lsa. Iam also thinkg the 3200 or 3600 stall from yank would be about right for that cam. As you can see I need some advice. I want to be happy after speding all this money and I think Iam on right track so far after spending many nights researching. Here is a good read about this setup http://www.vetteweb.com/tech/vemp_07...ine/index.html thanks alot guys

You really can't go wrong with either set. I have a set of TEA LS6 Stage 2 heads on my LS6 motor and have been more than impressed with them. The TFS 225cc heads would probably make a tad more power, but at a much larger cost. Remember the TFS heads require roller tip rockers, and usually a valve cover spacer, that you don't have to have on the LS6 casting heads.
