Will i need to fly cut I have an MS3 and im going to do my head swap this weekend. I already have Cometic MLS stock thickness head gaskets and im pretty sure i wont have to with these. I was wondering if i can go thinner to get a higher CR. So will the PTV be good with .041?

Who worked the heads for you? Unless they are the PRC 5.3L heads specifically set-up for that camshaft, you will have piston to valve clearance issues, even with the stock thickness gasket.

hi flo engineering out of lakeland florida. stage 3 port job on 706 casting. well that is good to know that i might have issues with PTV even with stock thickness.. looks like a shop will have to take over. Thanks
You'd want to check the clearance with the 111LSA (always a good idea to check anyway, but this is going to cut down on clearance that is already tight)!
