torquer v3?
Would the torquer v3 be a good cam for my setup? with the prc 5.3l 2.5 heads and some dual springs? Current mods in sig. I will be getting performa built lvl2 tranny and a stall to go with it.
I want something to work good with the fast intake I have now, and have a 90/90 as a possible future upgrade.

That combo will work very well, or possibly the new PRC 215 cylinder heads. Both combos work very well & will add some awesome power to the car. The PRC 215 heads will be available with milling around 59cc & still keep good p/v with the Torquer 3 camshaft!

I ran the torquer v.3 with a set of patriot ported 99 ls1 heads and made 400 rwhp and 380 rwtq with a fast 78 intake. That was also an a4 with a 3800 stall. I never mounted sticky tires on the car because I didn't want to kill the rear end. The car did run some 7.50s and 7.40s in the 1/8 mile leaving at idle. That was the only way it would hook on regular street tires. I am sure on some drag radials and putting the 3800 converter to use it should have been in the 7.0 area no problem. I would think it would make a little more power with a set of stage 2.5 5.3 heads. Either way it definetly made for a bottom 11 second full weight street car wiyh A/C and every thing.
