Poor idle quality, eratic vaccuum readings both caused by the valve not seating properly. What is the cause for the question/ what is the vehicle doing?

the car has good compression at cold start and when the car warms up, #1 piston gets 0 compression. we put air into #1 and i can hear it leak from the back of the exhaust? i am confused about the situation. how would it get copression cold?
