Default Torquer v2 w/ Stock Heads?

My question is simple: is the Torquer v2 just too much camshaft for a car with stock heads daily driven? I have narrowed down my choices between the tsp 228r and the torquer v2 and I just don't want to do the newb thing and over-cam my car.

yeah tq 2 should be fine, it is basically the same cam i have, or pretty close...it is about as big as i would go for a dd...for a weekend warrior u can go a little bigger, and track only even bigger, etc...

There are plenty of people out there daily driving this cam without any problem whatsoever. With an experienced tuner working on the car, it should drive great with little to no low RPM bucking. The idle quality should be good as well. With the A/C on or off, the car should fire and find an idle quickly. I would go ahead and put on a set of PRC Dual springs so you don't have to worry about spring life for quite some time and the car should be relatively trouble free! Feel free to shoot me a PM with any questions!
