Default Who has replaced the knock sensors?

Just wondering because i'm going to replace both and was wondering how long its gonna take?

It doesn't take long. I think maybe a couple of hrs maybe for the first time. I think it's a 7/8" socket to take the sensors out. Just be careful pulling the intake off so you don't break the oil sending unit and be careful disconnecting the connectors to the knock sensors cause they are delicate unless you plan on replacing the harness for them. Also, after you put in the new sensors the rubber plugs that cover them, put some silicone around the edges to keep any water/condensation out of them or you'll be replacing them again.

What he said ^^^ not to bad. Also if you can afford it upgrade to a ls6 intake manifold while its off.

Any idea on where to find the rubber sleeves on the cover and the sensors, ive been looking but dont want to buy from ebay.

One thing worth doing,

when you re-fit the KR sensors is to waterproof them and seal them, the connectors and the rubber bungs from water ingress as well as you can.
