Default Stock bore Forged rotating assemblie options

*assembly

I recently picked up a low mileage block that had been sent out to a machine shop, cleaned and lightly honed. I was told that it still was the stock bore size and was not punched out to a 3.905. Most places/sponsors seem to have the 3.905 bore forged rotating assemblies for sale but I cant seem to find any stock bore sizes, where am I missing this? Or who has them for sale (sponsors)?

Give texas speed a call they have mahle forged pistons in a 3.898 bore. I'm sure they would hook you up with a stock crank, forged rods and pistons for a 346ci.

So when taking a block back from the machine shop, you dont question what they are telling you by measuring it yourself? Why not punch it out to 3.905?

I didnt send it to the machine shop. I checked the bores, they are not 3.905. Why spend the money to send it back to a machine shop when the person I bought it off of sent it out, and a bore was not nessesary to clean up the cylinders. So they honed it and that was it.
Back on topic... All I see for complete rotating assemblies are for a 3.905 bore
And I have a 3.898. I dont want to buy pistons, rods and a crank seperate, I like to get a package deal....

Rotating assy as a package would be
stock bore stock stroke
346 with manley pistons
1299.95. Balanced is 1499.95, nitrous rings/boost rings add $100.

OR

383 rotating assy with scat crank manley pistons
1899.95. balanced is 2099.95. boost/nitrous rings add $100

Stock stroke is 3.622 and the stock rod length is 6.098 but you can use a 6.100 rod.
I have all of that ready to go, but we would need to double check the bore size (if you go overbore for a cleanup). We can get the pistons in 3.898/3.903/3.905 and the rods are avail from a few companies. With a regular stock build, or some nitrous you can still use the I beam and keep the cost down.

Pistons/Rings/Rods (with arp bolts)/Bearings will run about 860 shipped. Forged pistons and forged I beam rods.

Oh ok, i just called the machine shop and its supposed to be getting a hone only but as it sits it measures 3.900" I think we are gonna have to go with the 3.903. Im gonna wait a few more hours for them to call me back on the size. $860 sounds good, I'll definitely be PMing you later today. thank you!
Can you send me more details on the parts that will be included?
