If you're not going to exceed 7k rpms, then a beehive spring is your best option (assuming stock rockers). Best ones would be a PAC-1218/1518 or Comps version 26918. A bonus is you don't need to buy seats or retainers, reusing stock components works just fine! Besure to get new pushrods, the stock ones won't cut it.

DO NOT USE THE COMP 918s!!!! they are rated for only .600" lift cams you're gonna kill pushrods and eventually collapse a lifter then you gotta do the work all over again. get the .660" dual spring kit from TSP. cheap and wont float at high rpm.

lol, cmon guys thank you but please read, I already stated I am going with dual .650 or 660 springs that come with everything,*seals,ti retainers, locks, seats*, cam is a .603 max lift, just wondering what difference the base or "seat" diameter has before I buy em'? not interested in comp anythings, sry. have tsp hardened moly rods already. Any information is appreciated.

Thank you

I don't understand your logic here...i'm going to guess that you are assuming that the spring will coil bind if he exceeds the rated lift by 0.003" and bend the pushrods?

Max coil bind on a 26918 is 1.100". If you were to install this spring at 1.800" and slam 0.603" lift at the valve, there would be 0.097" coil bind clearance. I think this is where the problem occurs (maybe like you described above), when you don't check your clearances.

If you are installing new springs and seats, always check your install height and check the clearance. 0.050" is a good minimum to start.

Bind Clearance = (Installed Height - Valve Lift) - Coil Bind Height

Cheers
