Quick spark plug question?
I did have the TR6s in my car and switched over to the TR5 with platinum. Just wondering if these will be alright. I got them from advanced auto and they said they couldn't get the TR55s. The cars good with the TR5s.

a TR5 and TR55 are the same thing just different gaps.
TR55 is at .055
TR5 is at .040 IIRC
you should be fine with a TR5 or TR55 uless you are running FI or nitrous then I would stick with TR6.

The car is just a bolt on car. I was just running the TR6 because back in the day I was going to add nitrous, but changed my mind. I did gap the TR5 at .040. So, will everything be alright? Thanks for your help.

Quite a few people run the TR55 stock gap of .055 with good results. I have the TR5 gapped at .050 myself and it runs well. With a bolt on car I would open up the gap a bit and probably run the .055 IMHO.
