Default What pushrods did you use for your TREX!

Is there anyone out there running a trex cam with comp magnum adjustable rockers, with factory heads, no milling. With factory lifters also on an ls1. If so what length of pushrods did you use? I was told the 7.4 are to long!

What does Comp supply in the kit (if they make one)? In your case, the pushrod will determine both wipe and preload so you need to ensure measurements are taken correctly. Best bet is to pick up an adjustable pushrod and some check springs.

Its always recommended to check your pushrod length, especially when using aftermarket rocker arms!!!!

I was just curious what other people had for push rods on there setup. The company i bought my kit from sold me push rods that were to long and may have bent my valves! was just wondering what people with my same setup were using.

Not sure on the rockers, but my last build, I had a stock heads (853), GM MLS head gaskets, stock rockers, Comp R lifters, Crane dual springs, stock everything else and I used 7.400" push rods. No problems at all!!

Because these are adjustable rockers, the normal method of measurement can't be followed as the pushrod length will control both geometry and preload.
