after i get the money i am interested in a head/cam swap, and just wanted to know what kind of tuning do you have to do to the pcm in order for the car to run good. would you need ls1 edit or something similiar? any help is appriciated

Yes LS1edit, Predator will all work. You can also supply all your data and get a mail order tune. Some like MTI can do an excellent job with mail order.

With a smaller cam you won't "have" to have tuning. But to optimize performance you will want it.
