hrpt in 2 days now oil pressure TOO high??? WOW, leaving on a 3000 mile power tour trip in two days and today the oil pressure hit 104 and 96 at idle. I changed the oil and filter and it is still in the 100+ range. What could have got blocked? I can't drive like that. Could the sender be bad? the 98 vette has 138,000 and has top end mods. Pretty sure the pump was changed a few years ago.

I was told to check if it is sending a signal when the engine is off and it sure does. With the key on and engine off the psi is at 65. Now to find the unit and get it changed. Big load off my mind.
