Motor find.
I'm not really shure where to put this and its been awhile since i've been on here. So real quick i've always wanted to build a motor slowly out side of my car so i could just swap it in. Well at work i scored a 02 i think suburban 5.3 liter motor minus heads. Is it worth building this motor for my trans am or should i continue to look for something better? will the motor even bolt in? thanks guys/gals

I wouldn't bother, but that's just me. You could make it into a 347ci iron block on a budget, but I would rather spend the extra money on a 6.0L block and gain nearly 30ci.
However, it should be able to swap in, but I think you would need to drill and tap a hole on the front of the block, driver's side, for the power steering.

so i'm pretty much looking at selling it? would it be worth it to build it to handle a turbo or super charger rather then try and stroke it because. idealy i wanted a 408 stroker. if i can't do that is it worth going the turbo route?

If you plan on going turbo route, thats a great budget motor. There's a couple guys in the forced induction section with turbo 5.3's pumping out 700+ on pump gas with meth.
