Default 5.3 modds. yay, nay or dude get off the pipe

well im building a bare ***** budget , i got a 70k 5.3 for a steal for 300 $ on ebay about a year ago almost 2 well its been slowing going towards

iv got a ls6 intake with i beleive stock 42 lb injectors ehh flame the hell out of me if im wrong ,

i wanna use a ls6-2 type cam shaft in the 5.3 block , wanna use a stock ish stall convertor with smooth idle and mild preformance , mill the heads down a tiny bit and install yellow springs with a 3 way valve job .

im thinking since a ls2 cam can be had cheap new for 125 or hella cheap used i can get a ls2 chain and timeing cover cheaply ,

the ls6 cams go crazy fast in the nice 125 shipped range i cant seem to be in the same beat with surfing for parts

i also wanted to discuss if any body knows any used part search engine similar to car-part.com i need a 2wd 4l60e cuss i only have a 4l60e which is blown from a 4.3 v6 , iv only seen 70k trannys for 550 $ 300 miles away any closer its crazy miles for more money :
