Default Cam Selection for Street

I thought I was dead set on the ASA cam for my build, but the more I read, the more I think about others.

The car is a 1969 Camaro that will be street driven, autocrossed, and tracked. I want it to have decent street manners, but I want a little lope to the idle to give it some old school feel. I am not looking to break a certain HP target, but I would like a nice flat torque curve.

Key Engine Components:
  • LQ4 6.0L
  • 799 Heads
  • Static Compression comes in around 10:1
  • LS2 Manifold and Injectors
  • LS6 Valve Springs (these can be replaced if needed, they were purchased to go with the ASA)
  • Long Tube Headers
  • T-56 Trans
  • 3.73 Gears

Anything else you need to know to help me decide?

Thanks,
Matt
