Default LS3 small bore heads or TFS 215s

Right now I am currently running a G5x3 clone cam from comp cams, and stock 243s(milled for compression) with upgraded springs. I am looking at doing a head swap this winter or late spring this coming year. I have been looking at doing the TFS 215s as every has been putting good power down and they are suppose to good for nitrous. I have a forged shortblock for nitrous so they are no worries there. Recently i stumbled on these ls3 heads for small bore. I want to hear from some ppl on what I should do, just get the TFS or try out these ls3s?

I have a FAST intake so i think could recoup about $600 dollars on that, sell my current heads for $400(I don't know what they would go for). Then purchase a ls3($300) intake and rockers($400?). Probably would need to get fuel rails for sure, would I have to change my injectors? The car makes 400rwhp and 400trq right now and I am looking for 450+ to the wheels.

Here are some flow numbers on the ls3 heads from MASTmotorsports:

Flow Data w/ 3.900" Bore Plate
Lift | Intake | Exhaust
.100 | 76 | 57
.200 | 147 | 110
.300 | 218 | 172
.400 | 274 | 214
.500 | 318 | 234
.550 | 333 | 242
.600 | 342 | 248
.650 | 349 | 252
.700 | 353 | 257

Flow numbers for the TFS 215s

Lift Int Ex
.100 - 68- 55
.200 - 142 -115
.300 - 215 -185
.400 - 260 -230
.500 - 300 -251
.600 - 320 -259

I really like the idea of running these ls3 heads but i just don't know if it is worth it or not. I want to hear what everyone has to say, maybe some one has these heads already?

The ls2 guys have been having valve clearance problems with bigger cams with theses heads so you might want to check on that. Even tho I know you have after market pistons.

The heads from Mast are 12 degree so you should have more ptv if I'm not mistaken. I'd be interested in some results from these heads as well.

The question is, will their performance be worth spending $3k?

Well if you get a set of TFS 215s and rockers your pretty much at 3k. I know that AFR has a new 215 head coming out soon too. It just when is going to be available and when are we going to have solid numbers on that head as well.

Other question is are we ever going to get solid numbers on the ls3 heads? If I had the money to test them I sure in the hell would, but I don't!

I don't know a whole lot about getting the right heads. If you look at the numbers the ls3 heads flow a lot more on the intake side than the TFS. The TFS flow better on the exh side of things. So what is more important int flow or exh flow?
