Default Flycutting?

I just ordered some PRC stage 2.5 ls6 heads and a 228r cam from tsp and I'm flippin pumped!!

However, I was just reading a thread that's about 6 years old about the 228r and it said that if you go with new heads and don't go with the 5.3's your going to have to flycut your pistons. Does anyone know if this is true? I've been under the impression that none of this would have to be done!

Opinions?

I wouldn't think so. Buddy of mine has those heads with an MS3, no flycutting there.

^^I plan on doing that, I've talked to them like everyday for a week and a half now, I would assume they would be sick of me by now haha! Although, when you spend that kind of money, I should be able to have them on call right!

They should fit without an issue. You can always clay the pistons and check the clearance yourself.
