degreasing engine and question about 6.0 rebuild hello.
i bought a lq4 and i have it on a engine stand with the pistons and the cam still inside.
i was wondering if it will be ok if i can use some purple power degreaser that i bought from autozone. the stuff works really good i just want to know if it is going to be safe.
i want to avoid rust.
i was thinking afterwards i can spray some wd 40 just to keep it from rusting.

thas exactly what i do i degrease it and take it to the car wash and spray it down and then dry it with air and spray it down with wd40. make sure u dont turn the engine when is degreased wait to turn it until its lubed or it will bind.
also i would recomend not to do it until u are ready to rebuild it.
