Default valve guides breaking

Bought a set of MTI stage 2E heads. Have had numerous issues with them but dont wanna really go there. Yesterday pulled the heads off for some other reasons and while inspecting them saw a piece of metal hanging from the valve guide. Well I get to looking and notice that where the port work was done around the guides left the ends of the bronze guides sticking out and they have started to break off 3 of then have already broke off and lord only knows where they went. this one was hanging and i pulled it off. Is this normal? I wouldnt think so. Anyway what can I do from here? Only noticed one nic in the head chamber and the pistons show no problems.
