118mph from ported 243's and a custom cam in a light c5? What DA? what cam specs? I've seen bolt on c5z06's run better? just wondering..

the AI CNC TFS 208cc LS1 heads are designed for a 4.00" bore LS1 and they AI told me that they will work well on my 3.91" bore LS1. i just wanted to see dyno and track numbers numbers for these heads before i decide to buy them.

btw, i have touched up (lighlty ported to 218cc) CNC TFS 215cc LS1 heads ported by Chris Frank@raymac racing engines in my house but i want to see if the AI 208cc TFS LS1 heads are better then i will go with AI.

let me know what do you think and if any one has a first hand experience.

Cam Specs can't say Ed Curtis he is **** about that. It's his AZPS02
DA 4165
91 Octane

So if I was at sea level I'd be deeper into the 11's and probably mid 120s trap speed.

so if you were at sea level you could be deeper into the 11's at around 125 mph. so that tells me your AI heads are very good. i think i will try the AI CNC TFS 208cc LS1 heads. i will let you know the results after install.

i will also get an EPS custom cam from Geoff matched with the AI TFS heads.

will see how AI TFS heads perform.

Agreed . I dont know why everyone thinks they need to keep their specs a secret. Thats when people that dont measure run into PTV issues. Seriously though, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to spec out a cam. If you have the basics it can be done.

I'm just saying that if someone has secret specs....All it would take is Richard at Big Johnson cams to take that cam and spend 25$ to get it doctored and bam....He would have all the exact specs.

I agree with you 100% but out of respect for him when he said to me to not give them out as part of the sale I agreed what is a man if he can't keep his word you know.

And thats true and fine as well. If you give YOUR word and then cats out of the bag it reflects bad back on you, no matter who it was you gave it to. You know me, I'm just sayin.

I know you saw the numbers I put down with my 215s and since you already have a set lightly massaged I don't see the confusion or problem...throw the tried and true on...215s...

if not send 98bluesscamaro a pm and I am sure if the price is right he will take those TFS 215s off your hands

AI puts out some good heads. but the TFS 215 is a proven cylinder head.
i wouldn't think there is much out there on the 205's with them being so new, but i have been wrong once befor.

thanks Chris for directing me to sell the 215's heads i have. first i will try the AI TFS 208's if i didn't like them i will go with the 215's i have. if i liked the AI TFS 208's then i will sell the TFS 215's i have.

the TFS 215's i have are brand new and never been installed. they flow 314cfm before light porting, after light porting to 218cc they flowed 325cfm. i think the 215's i have will perform very well but i think the AI 208's will perform the same if not better and even with more torque due to smaller 208cc runner and better fuel economy.

If only you could tell torque by runner size.. if only.. by the way, don't tell the LS3 and LS7 guys they shouldn't be making any torque!

That smaller runner size is not going to help with torque. If you guys can spec a cam as good as Ed you should prove it.
