2003 lq4 rod bolt questions please help ordered arp rod bolts .went to take old bolts off and they era threaded in the end of the caps, it has a threaded sleeve in end of cap. Any one else run into this is there a way to get them out to run arp bolts.thanks kevin

hit them with a inpack gun to get them out,{dont go crazy} u dont need the sleeves, knock them out and install the arp bolts, the arp bolts r alittle bigger they wont go threw the sleeves anyway. g/m just but the sleeves there to hold the bolt in place, to make install faster, john

Bump becuase im a moron.
ummm, gonna bring this back up, if you arent supposed to remove the rod caps when you switch the bolts, how do you get the bolts and sleeves out, without impact gun. lol
