Default 1.7 or 1.8 rockers?

Hey guys. I have a forged ls1 block built by Monty Crafford, with a ms3 cam new PRC stage 2.5 5.3 heads with .675 springs from TSP. What size roller rockers should I go with and what brand?

The best thing to do is use the smallest rocker ratio as you can without hurting your end result. but seein as you already have a cam, I would just stick with 1.7's. I don't like running a large ratio rocker.

Stick with 1.7 ratio. As for rockers, you can use the stock rockers. I also like the Yella Terra rocker for aftermarket. Which ever way you go, make sure to set the wipe pattern and then measure for pushrod length after the wipe is set.

You will have valve control problems with that cam if you go bigger than 1.7...
