Default G5x3 112lsa....need flycutting?

Alright so i just bought a g5x3 cam to go in my new motor. The engine is an lq4 iron block with all ls2 internals. Now I've read a few places that the x3 on a 112lsa you need to flycut the pistons. However I've been told by a few people that I race with and that build cars that you do not need to and they have even done the g5x4 with no flycutting. So my question is do you or do you not need to flycut the pistons? also does the fact what its basically going into is an iron block ls2 make any sort of difference compared to a stock motor.
Also I read most of these rumors on corvette forum and they were referring to the ls6 in the z06's so maybe im just way off and it doesnt matter.

Someone please clarify this for me asap as I have the cam and motor all coming in and going in the car in the next week or so!

I have the G5X4 in my LS1 and no fly cutting needed.

Awsome thanks alot guys. I read up a little more and found you only need to flycut it with the 112 if its aftermarket heads and since mine or stock i'm good to go till i have them done or get some new ones.
