Default EPS 234/246 sound clip idle + low rev

It was idling a little high, 900-1000, so it should lope a little harder after the new tune when the idle is back to 800-850.

EPS 234/246 cam
STEM Racing ported 241 heads
STEM Racing ported 85mm Typhoon and 85mm TB
Edelbrock 1 3/4 to 1 7/8ths stepped headers
Summit bullet on the end of each collector dumped to the side

Thanks for the compliments guys.

SOMbitch, the car previously had a 228/232 and patriot stage 1 heads on it. It had a tune on that already for the 42# injectors. This is a much more aggressive setup though and does need to be cleaned up especially at idle. The IAC must be going nuts or something.. not enough fuel trim? I can't get the idle to stay below 1000. The previous tuner was a newbie and "learned" on my car so I got it cheap (I was all about cheap back then). The cam is bigger, the heads are better, the intake is now ported, bigger throttle body, and the compression is up since I now have 58cc chambers and a .040 gasket.

edit: yes, it's a stock bottom end 346.

I might need some land vs that monster you got! But I'm always game!

Yes, M6 you did hear the neutral check

Bottle?

The most concerning part of the build was the sticking lifter. Must have gotten some dirt or debris in it. and I didn't resoak them before they got installed. It was really loud when the car first started. A half can of seafoam shut it up almost completely. I'll put the rest of the can in with the next oil change. I also had 2 leaks at the fuel rail.. upper o-rings on the injectors.. so yeah, everything went very smooth. Just 2 very small issues.

2 weeks-ish I should have it tuned and have numbers. Not sure how much to spray at it. I want to do 200 but I don't expect the stock bottom end to handle it long.. so might do less or might hold off til the bottom end is forged and do the 200 I wanted to.

I recently purchased the same cam. I was wondering if you flycut with the cut and smaller gasket. Any idea what your PTV clearance is?

I did fly cut. .110 on the intake and .080 on the exhaust. Exhaust clearance is more than ample, intake clearance was right at the .090 mark.

I got it on a 110+3, he has it advertised as a 111+3 because that will fit under stock heads, and the 110+3 is too tight. I already knew going in I was going to fly cut.

I am at about 11.9 to 1 compression with 58cc heads and a .040 gasket.

I am using PAC 1518 beehive springs.

Thanks, my tune and dyno are from the 12th to the 13th. (Yes, a real tune takes more than 3 or 4 dyno pulls.)
