auto tranny went to sh*t finally after 140k so i just got that rebuilt and i got a 2800k sized converter. main reason why i went with 2800k is i wanted to keep it somewhat tamed because i drive this car everyday and beat it 1/2 the times...i jus got the rear redone with forged parts and richmond 373's. I want to install a cam only swap since ill use my tax return for the heads next year, i was wondering on any "cam only" suggestions that would compliment what i hav already...almost forgot i have a ported ls6 intake and tb, and flp longtubes catless system with a slp loundmouth1

A buddy of mine has an older 220/220 cam with bolt ons and a 2800 converter and he runs 1.6 60ft and low-mid 7s in the 1/8th at 90-91 even in shitty air.
A good combo is key with smaller cam/converters. I would call and talk to thunder racing, texas speed, and geoff at EPS and see what they say.

I figured that but wastn 100% sure. Glass packs are mufflers and I figured a 850 double pumper sounds like a fuel pump so I wasnt 100%. Once I saw double hump heads I felt certain.

well.. im 33 and my first car was a 79 monte carlo.. $150 and only went in reverse when i bought it... 4 weeks later is was at the local track and my first run was a 14.7 at 101mph.. dont remember the short times but that was my first.. anyway, that was what my first motor had... lunati 292/294 650 lift cam i think.. cant be for sure.. but the carb was a holley 850 double pumper with vacuum secondary.. bla bla bla.. old school ****.. just thought it would be funny... i figured the "850 double pumper" should have given it away more than anything...
you young guys crack me up... you should watch a movie called
"AMERICAN GRAFFITI" that was the original fast and furious. lol
