SS4000, there is very little difference in the way both drive but the 4000 will match your cam powerband better (shift extensions)

PT4000 if you are not spraying, I went from a SS3600 (Full Bolt On) to the PT4000 when I installed the G5x2 and couldn't be happier.

i really would like to a vid or race with cars with the same mods and those 2 stalls run.

Ive thought about stepping up to a 4k stall, but ill just see myself overpowering on the street. Detoxx has a 228 cam and a ss3600 and his **** rolls out hard.

That is the key. In which case, the 4K wouldn't be the best. That is a LOOSE converter, and your gas mileage will suck beyond all belief. I'd do a 3600 if you're driving it on the street. I've pulled out a bunch of 4K stalls because guys got tired of driving the car and going to the gas station every 2 days.

If it's for the track, then of course the 4K would be the way to go.

As much as people say 4k stall all the way, ive noticed some people running small stalls still for all out drag cars.. There was a guy with a bad *** red SS with a MTI 427 with a yank 2800 stall running 10's..

Ive also seen some 347 with 235/240 duration cams running 3200 stall running 10's and 9's. I have been thinking of stepping up from a 3200 to a 4k. Not that im worried about gas mileage, but i look at it as far as all around performance.
