Default loosing fuel somewhere

i put a new motor in my camaro back in the summer and i busted the block so now i have bought another motor and i just got it back together and the gas mileage has really fell off i got 160 miles off a tank of gas i can smell raw gas under the hood i have checked the fuel lines and as far as i can tell they are hooked up good and i dont see anything wet around the fuel injectors so i am kinda stumped on what to do next any help would be greatly appreciated
