Default Another P2V question

I am putting a trex v2 camshaft in an ls1 and wanna know if i should check my p2v.

Everything is at the machine shop...

took .005 off a stock block
going to take .003-.005 of a set of stock 799 heads
going to do a new valve job on the heads and trim the valves(should give us almost all our clearance from milling back.)
Going to use GM mls head gaskets

Should i pay the extra money to them to check the p2v?

I think i will be fine as i thought i read that in stock form there would be .070 clearance on the intake and .090 clearance on the exhaust with a trex v2 cam.

Block and heads are shaved so YES check clearances carefully. My guess is you need to flycut.
