Default Yet another 5.3 lm7 swap question

Hey I've been looking at gettin a LM7 for an older Chevy truck. I have been looking into the heads. Thinkin 243's are the way to go. The stock LM7 head is 61.15cc with a 9.5:1 CR and from what I understand if you take and mill down 243's .020 you end up with the roughly the same chamber and the same CR.

If you take a set of 243's and mill it down .030 isnt it around 58cc?

what would that bring the CR to on a 5.3l engine?

10:1?

Will most likely wait until I find a pair already ported and milled.....

Also was looking at cam's... what cams are out there for a ls base engine that isn't a 6k+ screamer? more for the torque 4k area?

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CCA-54-600-11/

will this work?

Does intake matter as far as how much torque u end up with?

truck intakes keep a little more torque?

or a ls6 intake for the extra HP up top the way to go?

interested on what you find out on this. Have a set of 799 that have been milled .030. Wondering what my cc would be or my compression with stock 5.3 pistons.
