Default Lq4 swap

I have a few questions about my LQ4 swap.

Will I have any issues running a MS4 cam, tea stage 3 5.3 58 cc heads on my stock short block with dished pistons?

Are green top injectors going to be enough?

Will a ls7 clutch hold up to some mild strip use with this motor?

Will a ls6 intake and throttle body flow enough for this head/cam set up for the time being?

Where can you get Katech rod bolts?

What oil pump should I run?

Any other advice?

What kinda power should I lay down with this set up through 2" headers?

Thanks a ton,

Dustin

heads and cam no probs cause the dish on the pistons
yes on the green tops
yes on the ls6 intake....but thats always up for discussion lol
just use arp bolts and dont pay for the name you have up there
melling high flow
only other advice is to have someone tune it that knows what they are doing !!!

Hey guys, I am hearing from some ls guys at work the ms4 cam wont work good with my 58cc heads and dished lq4 pistons. They said if the valves ever float of the springs wear down a little my junks done for.

What off the shelf cam would you guys suggest for a lq4, tea stage 3 58cc 5.3 heads?

a ms3 is what i ran....with a dish piston...so im not sure, the ms4 is a tad bigger obviously....i guess only way to see for sure is get it and check the ptvc......just call john janz at texas speed and he will posatively know the answer
and i dont think you would flycut a piston thats allready dished?? there are plenty of cams out there that are as agressive without a huge duration.....its all your choice though

Just talked to John at texas speed. He said the ms4 wont work and nor will a ms3 since my heads are milled to a 58cc chamber and the factory lq4 dished pistons. Now i dont know what I want. He recommended at 228 cam?

Does anyone know what will work and give me the most power?

I would suggest contacting Pat G and having him custom spec you a cam. That's what I did for my upcoming LQ4 build. Or you could always flycut the pistons and run whatever cam you like...

I am trying to avoid fly cutting my pistons at all cost. I really dont want to pull them out of the block. I dont want to have to buy new rings or bearings. I cant find anyone local to fly cut pistons in the block.
