Default Cam choice help. Have done research.

OK i m looking for a cam that has power from about 2k to 7k and still be able to cruise on the week end drive to the track run, drive home. I do a little auto cross with thee car also. My mods as of now are 7.400 harden push rod, rod arp rod bolts,243 heads P&P, t6060 trans, 9in with 4.11,42 fuel injectors, ractroinks fuel pump & and hot wire kit.ls6 intake, long tubes 3/4. ory no cats, hooker cat back. NOS wet plate 125 shot kit. That about all of them. my goal na is 450 rwhp. I had a 222/224 .566/.568 112 cam in last motor now looking for some thing that is going to make a little more power with these heads, open to any suggestions i was looking at like a 228/232 .600/.600 111 cam some thing like that. thank you tripp

torquer v2. made numbers in sig at 6k (trying to keep stock 125k bottom end alive) and hadn't peaked yet

I think you on the right track as-far-as cam size for the power band, and you already have the gears that'll go great with a cam that size, but I don't think you'll make your HP goal, unless you go with a bigger cam, and/or have the heads milled.

my vote goes for the street sweeper ht as well. it's right around the duration you mentioned with a little more lift. although you will need to look into a FAST, UDP, and a custom Y setup in order to reach your goals. maybe see how much you can change the head gasket thickness to bump that compression a touch

Look at the Cam Motion 228/232 .612/.612 cam. It makes good power.

If i could do it over again, i would definitely step up to a bit more cam. I would definitely run the TSP 233/239 cam.

still looking for one. really like to make 450whp. ms4 think would make it or is it to big for weekend car cruiser
