In order my choices would be...I think all five are great choices.
TEA 5.3's 1.5 w/hand touch ups
Absolute 5.3's
FMS/Meaux 5.3's
Cartek 5.3's
MTI 5.3's S2E
*****
I'd skip the PP's at least until the learning curve is completed. Since PP seems to have to frequently address quailty issues, I'd pass on them. For example yesterday, Terry posted he'd just started (last week) to flow PP heads after cleaning up the bowls to make sure they flowed as claimed. This sort of thing should have been happening since day one and sort of show the PP way of reacting to issues after they get to the customer instead of preventing issues from getting to the customer. Never mind that 12 out the first 23 PP users that posted up in the PP feel good thread had issues varying from valves, springs, retainters, oil consumption etc.
Of course you should go with the sponors your most comfortable with regardless of what others tell you.

Thanks guys. I would like to stay kinda on the cheap side. Absolute Speed catches my eye by looking at there website. I'm gonna e-mail them and see what everything costs and all that.

I talked to Candy Futral the other day about what would be the best heads. She said about Meaux and TEA and I think somebody else. The closer it gets to making my decision, I'll probably use one of the people Futral recommends. They know their sh*t! I was just wanting to know who you guys have had a good experience in service and performance with. So, keep'um coming!

I emailed Absolute Speed and they said everything would be like a stage 2 for my 5.3. Everything + assembly = $999, they said that was P&P, milling, 02 Z06 springs, new ls1 valves, valve job, and assembly. That sounds like a great deal.
I had lost a bunch of my emails a few weeks ago, but if I remember correctly, Allan had told me that if meaux did everything it came out to $800. I don't know if thats assembled or just the headwork. I'm wanting to say it was just Stage 1 P&P + milling, not sure though...
