Your engine can be changed from a reliable powerplant to scrap.

That's about it, unless you're paying to have the lobes re-hardened...in which case it's not much cheaper than just buying a new cam.

Actually what they do is change the base circle, so by making it smaller they can regrind the cam profile. It does work but I woooooodn't risk it.

They are reliable, but personally, I would get a new cam over one that has had a 2nd hardening process. They use the same cnc to regrind them with as they do a new cam from billet stock. If you can find someone that has had success with regrinds it might be worth saving 100$ over getting a new or used 1 time grind. I would definitely ask for a reciept as well as the cam card and appropriate engravings.

I have purchased three of them from ebay, and they are all JUNK! The first one was an ls6 copy, that isnt even close to the LS6 specs. The next one was ground wrong, and wouldnt run in hte car (had a miss) the third I wont use because the problems associated with the other two. Yes they will probably make the engine fire up, but the seller probably wont do anything about any problems, like in my case.
i have tried the ebay cams and the head studs, and have had terrible results with both of them. I will stay away from these at all costs.
