help needed on lq4 purchase So I'm looking at buying one of 2 lq4 complete running motors for my car and one is a 2001 with 109k and the other is a 2003 with 113k. My car is a m6 and I couldn't find an exact answer but iirc 1999-2000 had a different crank than 01+ which causes the t56 to not work. Is this correct? Leaning towards the 01 motor cause of less miles and its supposed to be in better shape. Is there any thing else I need to worry about in the different years? Looking to buy the motor today.
