Default Stock Crankshaft Material

What is a 01' LQ4 6.0L crankshaft made out of? I know there strong, but are they cast, steel???

My motor wont be built till this winter. Engines Unlimited, right here in Strawberry Point. He does all my machine work, and he have an engine dyno.

Will support good power, the issue you will see is either pistons or rods failing before the crank does.
