stock manifolds? you might have the cat's deleted by a local exhaust shop then take it to a tuner and have them tune out the rear o2's, and maybe dyno it while your at it. a tune is always a good place to pick up a few horses if you're still on stock tune.

you could also pick up a ls6 intake for fairly cheap. every now and then you can find one for less than 300 used on here. you could also find a set of used headers/y-pipe for real cheap as well. (don't forget poly motor mounts when doing lt's)

is your car an a4 or m6? if it's a4 look into stalling it, if it's an m6 look into the tick master cylinder and speed bleeder. these things may not give you any more hp but they will get you down the 1/4 more effectively. and are not that expensive.

have you deleted EGR/AIR? that's damn near free.

have you put your ride on a diet yet? there is plenty you can ditch to shead some extra pounds. ie: jack/spare tire, rear seats/belts, sound deadening, misc loose crap, etc etc.

except that most of the "free mods" are a waste of time at best. there are only a few free mods that are worth while. it takes money to make horsepower.

now if you are really serious about bang for your buck then go ahead and order you a 78mm plate system from nitro dave's and have fun.

lower gear on differential. if auto trans go with 3.73 or if manual go with 4.10's. that will get you into the power band quicker which equals quicker ET.
