Question ring end gap factor

hi guys, i got rings called "grant" im trying to gap them but i dont know its ring end gap factor, another brands say .004, .0045 top and .005 second groove this is street/strip usage (more street) bore: 4.290.
advices are thanked.

They say in general something like .003" of gap per 1 inch of bore for the top ring and .005" of gap per 1 inch of bore for the second ring . Go google mahle piston rings or keith black piston rings or 1 of the piston makers . Good luck

The type of piston material matters and whether or not you'll squeeze it
at a later date.....I'd put the top ring @ 0.027 and the second @ 0.030
and you should have no problems

I spent a LOT of time discussing my application with JE's tech line to make sure we had the right ring gap factor for my new 370...if it's not just a "stock" rebuild...I'd do the same for any supplier. JE supplied information about it with the piston/ring combo, but I was still a little iffy about their definitions of intended use, and mine, so the time they spent assisting me was very appreciated.
