Default Need help with new LQ4 setup

Parts ordered:
-Reman Lq4 bottom end
-PRC Stage 2.5 5.3 heads
-Tourqer V3 cam
-LS7 lifters
-TSP 7.4 Pushrods
ect.

Im trying to make the most out of this setup and would like to bump up the compression by milling the heads if possible. Im just wondering if this is doable with this setup and if so how much could I do before really having to worry about PTV clearance. This is my first build, so any help would be really helpful.

If your getting new pistons anyway, just go with a set of flat tops and an 8cc valve relief....this way you can safely get higher compression and have plenty of PTV clearance with just about any normal cam

I think that with a stock bottom end, 5.3 heads, and the V3 cam, your clearance will be very tight to have your heads milled.

You will always face hard time raising the compression on a stock LQ4 bottom end with a decent size cam

However, your compression with your heads unmilled is not that bad 10.5:1

Do you have the cam already? If not, you could consider getting one custom spec'd. That's what I did, and I was able to get a cam about the size of a MS3 to clear my LQ4 bottom end with 62cc 799 heads.

I think you'll be close but probably clear with the TV3. I'd call TSP and get their opinion, and definitely measure to be sure.
